The first iPhone was launched by Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007. 15 years have passed since the launch of the first iPhone. Apple’s iPhone, one of the world’s leading smartphone manufacturers, means extra craze. As much as people are interested in the launch of the new series, there is also an increased interest in what will be in the next series.
After the launch of this phone, the definition of smartphone changed.
Even though the current iPhone is 4G, it was 2G. In 2007, Steve Jobs personally unveiled Apple’s first 2G iPhone at the Macworld convention in San Francisco.
Once upon a time people bought this phone on line. The first model of iPhone was recently auctioned. It was sold for 35 thousand dollars (Tk 33 lakh 54 thousand in Bangladeshi currency) in this auction organized in the United States.
But not only the iPhone, a first generation iPod was also sold at the auction. It was sold for US$25,000 (about 24 lakhs in Bangladeshi currency).

The iPhone was the first iPhone made by Apple. The device was kept inside the company’s sealed box for 15 years. A customer auctioned the phone after so many years. Only pictures could be taken with the 2 megapixel camera in the phone. It was only 2.4 GHz WiFi supported. Video recording was not possible. iPhone 2 or 3 also did not have this facility.
The iPhone 4 is the first to feature a selfie camera.
At that time, all other phones used removable batteries, but there was no way to open the iPhone’s battery. It continues even today.
At that time Bluetooth headphones were made by Apple. Voice calls and music could also be heard through headphones connected to the iPhone. Even though the phones of that time had a memory card slot, the iPhone did not have that opportunity. So far no iPhone model has been given the option to increase the storage.

But even though it was so old, the first iPhone came in two variants in the market, 4 GB and 8 GB storage facilities. The first variant was priced at USD 499, the second at USD 599.
Meanwhile, multiple phones of the iPhone 14 series are coming in September.
